Field Trip To Shreeji Sugar Mill

Class 4 visited here and came to know how sugar is made. 1.Fill trip was good. 2.At the sugar mill, the sugar cane stalks are washed and cut into shreds. Huge rollers press sugar cane juice out of the shredded stalks. 3. The juice is then clarified, concentrated and crystalized. 4.The field trip was an enriching one. The students had a wonderful experience. 5.This trip gave basic knowledge of things which we don’t normally consider to be a big deal due to our constant use in daily lives. But these are the things without which life would otherwise not be so pleasurable.
